Join us for the year’s biggest gathering of all things Globus. Learn how to get more out of your data, and connect with other HPC administrators, research scientists, and developers who are building and using cutting-edge solutions to wrangle data.
As Globus continually adds powerful new features and functionality—such as Provider Plans, sharing, and groups—GlobusWorld is the best venue to learn how to take advantage of these tools. You will be inspired by what you can do to make your data accessible and dynamic.
Our main theme this year is Setting Up a Campus Data Service. Many campus IT professionals are charged with creating a flexible, highly-available service for moving data to, from, and within their campus. This year's agenda includes tutorials, presentations, and opportunities to engage with the Globus team and our partners, to help you design and implement a solution that meets your institution’s needs.
On Day 2 of the conference (April 17), we’ll have a special presentation block devoted to research data in genomics and biosciences. In addition, our own Globus Genomics team will present the latest capabilities available from their fast-growing service.
Connecting with others is an important part of GlobusWorld. In addition to the technical sessions and workshops, conference participants can look forward to:
GlobusWorld is a meeting of the minds: a chance to transfer knowledge, share ideas, and collaborate with others in the field. Join us at Argonne National Laboratory from April 15-17 for quality tutorials, talks, and networking.
